The format became a bit repetitive, but it took advantage of the massive numbers of students that can join; part of what was most helpful was looking through other people's posts to gather more ideas for task-based teaching. The course is about exactly what the title says; integrating a task-based approach to teaching and learning with using digital tools. I was also charmed by the fact that a lot of the reading content (which I felt was all high-impact and chosen well) was actually already hosted on the internet. It was a wonderful reminder that we already have access to the tools, we just need to find and use them.
