How do these MOOCs or free online courses work?
MOOCs are designed for an online audience, teaching primarily through short (5-20 min.) pre recorded video lectures, that you watch on weekly schedule when convenient for you. They also have student discussion forums, homework/assignments, and online quizzes or exams.
Sara J. Carvajalpartially completed this course, spending 2 hours a week on it and found the course difficulty to be hard.
The course was easy at the beginning, but then the assignments became a bit more complex. You definitely need a programming background to do get the answers (it would take forever to perform the calculation by hand) and that is not stated at first, hence the 3 stars.
