I believe the name of this course is a bit misleading: after part 1 (named "Introduction"), I expected the "Advanced Techniques" would be more deep dive into the technologies, but I feel it still is introductory. On the good side, it touches a number of different aspects (web components, html templates, sprites, IndexedDB, etc.), making the course a good peek into diverse stuff provided by recent standards and drafts.
