On this six-week course, you’ll discover the importance of managing supply chains, and how to overcome key challenges. You’ll understand how the global supply chain has become what it is today and how you can implement sustainable supply chain innovations.

Delving into different processes, you’ll finish the course with the knowledge of how supply chains can meet future economic, environmental, and social requirements.

Explore the role of information technology in supply chains

You’ll gain an introduction to information and communication technology (ICT) in supply chains, exploring both the history and current use of ICT.

You’ll learn how ICT technologies have enabled supply chain innovations and what the next generation of ICT in the supply chain will be.

Understand enterprise architecture

As you delve into business process management and modelling, you’ll understand how to integrate different flows and processes to make your supply chain management more efficient.

Within this, you’ll be introduced to information and enterprise architecture to help standardise infrastructures to meet business goals.

Develop skills as a supply chain manager

To explore technologies you can use in the supply chain, you’ll investigate sensing and wireless technology along with smart logistics and the Internet of Things.

Learning from the academics at the University of Twente and experts from industry, you’ll finish the course with the ability to innovate supply chains for sustainability.
