Overview

The course is focused on production, transportation and handling of fruit along the value chain. The contents of the course provide general and technical knowledge on advanced technologies which are used in the industry for measuring quality properties. The focus is both to specialists, to enable a better understanding of the value chain, and to consumers education, aiming at a better management of the purchase and storage of fruit at home, with regards to the organoleptic quality.

El curso tratará sobre la producción, transporte y manejo de frutas a lo largo de la cadena de valor y las tecnologías avanzadas utilizadas en la industria de la producción frutícola para la determinación de propiedades y los factores ligados a la calidad de la fruta. El enfoque se centrará tanto en un aspecto profesional que permita a los trabajadores del sector una mejor comprensión de la cadena de valor; como de formación del consumidor, habilitando una gestión óptima de la compra y almacenamiento en casa de la fruta, desde el punto de vista de la calidad organoléptica y de su consumo.
