Overview
This course teaches advanced data mining techniques using the Weka software, focusing on classification, clustering, association rules, and attribute selection. Students will learn how to apply these techniques to real-world datasets and evaluate the performance of different algorithms. The course is suitable for individuals with basic knowledge of data mining and Weka who want to deepen their understanding and skills in the field. The teaching method includes video lectures, readings, quizzes, and hands-on assignments to reinforce learning.

Another well thought-out Weka course from Waikato covering further areas of data mining (association rules, clustering, text classification, cost-sensitive techniques), of Weka (experimenter & knowledge flow interfaces) and of the data mining evaluation process (ROC, learning curves).
Assessments are fiddly, with a strong applied emphasis, but not too hard.
Current session closes 15/4/16, with an 'Advanced' follow-up course scheduled for late April (per Dr Witten's forum comments) -
Excellent course for learning Weka. I have used it before, but was not familiar with the many meta-methods and how to use them with filters. I hope there is a folllow on to this course.
