This subject is an introduction to the world of chemistry. You will learn about atoms, the building blocks of everything around us. You’ll learn about how these atoms are put together to make compounds, to make most of the materials that we use every day.
We’ll have some fun looking at some common types chemical reactions and finally, we’ll use our knowledge of these chemical reactions along with a new way of quantifying the world in order to be able to make powerful predictions about quantitative chemistry.

This was really great introduction to chemistry. I recommend it for anyone who has little to no experience with chemistry. The content was very well structured and Daniel Eldridge does a great job of making all the content accessible and easy to grasp. I found the assessments to be challenging but not so much that I was discouraged by the difficulty. The lectures are clear and concise and well done. I didn't have to go other sources to gain clarification on any of the content, and resources provided were useful and relevent to the course content.

Professor Daniel Eldridge does an excellent job teaching; so good, I wish I could have him as my professor for an upcoming college chemistry class I will be taking this fall at a local community college. The class was well taught, and provided good insights into chemistry, and provided an excellent tool belt for which to solve chemistry problems.

It was a great course. If you want to begin learning about chemistry or if you have difficulties with it this is an excellent course. On the other hand, if you already know chemistry and want something more challenge, then search in other course, because this is going to be too easy for you.
In my personal experience I like it a lot. Now, I can move forward to more difficult classes.
