Whatever You Want to Learn Next, DuckDuckGo For It

Type !moocs in DuckDuckGo’s search bar to directly search Class Central.

DuckDuckGo (DDG) is a privacy-focused search engine (they don’t track users). They have a feature called “bangs,” which allows you to search on thousands of sites directly. For example, if you type !amazon kindle into DDG it will take you directly to Amazon and search for Kindle. DDG has a huge library of such bangs — 9,980, to be exact.

One of their newest bangs allows you to search for MOOCs directly on Class Central. Just type !moocs <keyword> into DDG and you will get Class Central’s search results page for that particular keyword. The GIF below shows how things work.

Thanks for this go to the anonymous Class Central user who took the effort to reach out to DDG.
