MOOC-Maker, a project funded by the European Commission Erasmus+, is hosting a conference in Antigua, Guatemala. MOOC-Maker is a consortium formed by three European Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and six Latin American HEI.

The MOOC-Maker 2017 conference aims to be “the reference MOOCs conference for Latin America.” It will be held on November 16–17 and will have tracks in Spanish and English. The last date to submit papers is September 1, 2017. More details can be found here: Call for Papers.

It will see participation from top MOOC providers like Coursera and edX. Ajay Kapur, CEO of Kadenze, will be one of the keynote speakers. Class Central is a sponsor of the conference and I will also be one of the keynote speakers.
