Last year LinkedIn announced a partnership with Virgin America wherein fliers can access Lynda.com courses on-flight for free. Last week, while returning from SXSWedu (where I moderated a panel), I got a glimpse of what this partnership looks like in the real world.

Instead of Lynda.com, the videos were branded as “LinkedIn Learning,” a new portal launched by LinkedIn which consists primarily of content from its Lynda.com acquisition. The portal is part of the LinkedIn experience and users do not need a Lynda.com account.

This is not the first partnership of this sort. Back in November 2014, Coursera announced a similar partnership with JetBlue. Virgin America previously partnered with The Great Courses in February 2015. I didn’t find any educational content other than LinkedIn Learning during my recent Virgin America flight.

Without further adieu, here are some photos I took of LinkedIn Learning on my Virgin America flight.
