Amada Flores Rubio orginally from Mexico. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition at Latino American University Campus Health Sciences in 2009. She made her professional practice at Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran in Mexico City in the Collaborating Centre of the Genetics World Health Organization (WHO) in Latin America, acting as co-author in a nutrigenetic research project entitled "Variant Frequency of C677T of the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) in the Mexican Republic states "under the leadership of Dr. Osvaldo Mutchinick. In 2010-2012 she was the head of the nutrition department at the Ticoman Polyclinic in Mexico City and worked as a coordinator of the project against overweight and obesity in the collective subway system also in Mexico City entitled "Metro taking care of your line." She did her master’s degree at the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico from 2012 to 2014. She got a Master's degree in Health Sciences in Nutrition in 2014. In this period she became a teacher´s assistant in the Master Degree in Public Health of the Mexican School of Public Health focused on Nutrition for the student’s subject entitled "Methods for nutritional population assessment.” Currently she is collaborating with the Nutrition and Health Research Center and the Population Health Research Center at the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico in the creation of scientific articles.
