Jason Hansen

My all-time favorite hobbies include motorcycle riding, golf, fly-fishing and fly-tying. After my MBA program, I became an AVP with Genpact which has afforded me great deal of success as a liaison between the business and IT groups. My current project is implementing a forecasting/promotion planning tool called Demantra. I have been a hands-on developer/manager/analyst/IT professional since 1992 (including my military years). I was educated in automation by the US Military and then by the University of Phoenix. (BS of IT, MBA - IT Management) The military taught me a lot outside of computers as well. Along the way I was able to develop a life philosophy containing six principles. I have named the six principles I follow "Hansen's Half Dozen" 1. Work a full day for a full day's pay 2. Show empathy towards a situation: You have two ears and one mouth; therefore you should be listening twice as much as you speak 3. Always remember the definition of discipline: Discipline is the action you take when no one is looking. 4. To lead you must first learn to follow 5. If you are five minutes early you are five minutes late 6. No problem is beyond resolution from a logical mind One can apply these principles to any obstacle and over come that obstacle with success. Finally, the most important aspect about me that I wish to share is my passion for what I do. I enjoy coaching teams, implementing software packages as well as managing information technology projects to fruition. Specialties: Manufacturing, Retail and Supply Chain, Software, Management, SDLC,Coaching and Mentoring
