Mindshift: Break Through Obstacles to Learning and Discover Your Hidden Potential

Written 2 months ago
This programme has been really enjoyable and I appreciate the dedication the instructors have put into it. However,comparing Learning how to learn to this course,I would have to downgrade its rating.

If I have to take away 5 ideas only from this course,it would be that in life, we must have keep learning, either though online learning or reading books (1), that we must adopt a pi attitude to learning and our careers,where we have at least two life skills that we can use(Example,language and engineering)(2),that we should not multitask by learning from too many MOOCs at the same time(3), that we must change our thinking(to positive thinking) whenever faced with a difficulty(4) and most importantly, that we have to change ourselves to change our situation(5).

This course is absolutely amazing and so are its instructors.

I learnt many things from this course and if i was to summarize it,it would be the word:

Pprrelc.

P=Pomodoro Technique (to tackle procrastination)

p=practice(extremely impt)

r=recap(After each (or during ) individual study session)

r=reward(After each study session)

e=exercise(enhances learning by going into diffuse mode)

l=loci method(used to memorise things)

c=checklist(for preparing for a test)
