Overview

This course will provide you with the tools and insight to administer basic MongoDB deployments with confidence. You'll build standalone nodes, replica sets and sharded clusters from scratch. These will serve as platforms to learn how administration varies depending on the makeup of a cluster.

Hi:

No, I did not understand how the shell approach, in contrast to Compass, lets me connect to the DB.

Though I downloaded and installed Virtual Box, then Vagrant, wrote to Discussion Group, I could not connect

Could this be more explicit. I would be pleased to include know how to connect as I'm well tooled aready to operate the MongoDB database.
