Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds “ The Intersection of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence: Is it DV or Could It Be Trafficking?, 10/28/2020 8:00:00 AM - 10/28/2023 9:00:00 AM, Human Trafficking is occurring everywhere, even here in the Upper Valley of NH and VT. In rural locations, human trafficking can be mistaken for domestic violence. This presentation will provide learners with the basic understanding of what human trafficking is, how to recognize associated red flags and how to respond appropriately to patients who may be experiencing trafficking.

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss human trafficking as a health care issue including how to recognize and respond appropriately to patients who may be victims.
