via openSAP

Overview

Employees have exclusive insights into business processes and often produce great business ideas which could be adopted and put into action by a company. Do you see business opportunities at your workplace, but you’re not sure how to realize them? Or maybe you want to share ideas with leaders in your organization, but you’re unsure about the right approach? Then this course is for you! The course will provide you with tips and introduce tools to help bring the entrepreneurial spirit to your organization, workplace, or your team, and boost your business by identifying and exploiting new opportunities.

Intrapreneurship requires the engagement and dedication of open-minded entrepreneurial employees and teams, as well as the provision of a space to innovate. Well-known examples include the Sony PlayStation or Google´s Gmail, but there are many more. The course explains the intrapreneurship concept, outlines the opportunities it provides for companies and employees, and introduces different practical tools. It will bring learners from different companies, countries, and cultures together to discuss changes and challenges, and work on intrapreneurial ideas. Participants are invited to bring in their own ideas and develop a pitch strategy for a business opportunity.

This MOOC was a finalist for the Teaching Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence Award of the European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
