Cisco Collaboration Core: Implementing Call Control

via Pluralsight

Overview

Collaboration administrators need to configure calling privileges, perform digit manipulation, as well as prevent toll fraud. You will see how to deploy +E164 globalized dial plan and link CUCM to Unity Connection using SIP and SCCP.

Today’s collaboration administrators need to be able to deploy efficient, reliable, predictable dial plans. In this course, Cisco Collaboration Core: Implementing Call Control, you are going to see how to configure a scalable dial plan and provide access to voicemail. First, you will learn how to configure calling search spaces and partitions to create a dial plan that works exactly as intended. Next, you will explore how to modify calling and called numbers for both incoming and outgoing calls. Then, you will also see how to prevent toll fraud on Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco IOS gateways and how to interpret and deploy a +E164 globalized dial plan that allows users to be able to dial consistently, regardless of their location. This simplifies call management in multi-site and multinational deployments. Finally, you will discover how to connect Cisco Unified Communications Manager to Cisco Unity Connection using both SCCP and SIP protocols to support enterprise voicemail. When you are finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to configure your dial plan, implement globalized call routing, and be well on your way to passing the Cisco Collaboration Core exam.
