This is an advanced backend course that covers topics such as designing and implementing a database schema, generate CRUD golang code, writing database transactions and configs, mocking DBs, implementing APIs and authentication methods, building and pushing Docker images, deploying to AWS and Kubernetes. It will also teach students how to install and run Docker and Postgres and use Github Actions for automated tests. The tools taught include dbdiagram.io, TablePlus, Golang, Gorm, Sqlx, Sqlc, Gin, Viper, Bcrypt, JWT & PASETO, Docker images and Compose, AWS ECR & Secrets Manager, and EKS & Kubernetes.
