Overview
This course covers the following learning outcomes and goals: understanding ocean water properties such as temperature, density, and layering; exploring different ocean zones like the photic zone and intertidal zone; examining ocean life and productivity including hydrothermal vent communities and food chains.
The course teaches skills related to oceanography, including identifying ocean zones, understanding ocean productivity, and analyzing the impact of temperature and density on ocean water.
The teaching method of the course involves lectures and visual aids to explain concepts related to ocean water and ocean life.
The intended audience for this course includes students, researchers, and anyone interested in gaining knowledge about oceanography and marine ecosystems.
