Overcoming Gender Bias in Diagnosis and Treatment

This course aims to educate healthcare professionals and empower women to advocate for their health in order to overcome gender bias in diagnosis and treatment. The learning outcomes include promoting inclusive research, recognizing and combatting bias, implementing non-discrimination policies, and fostering a cultural shift towards gender equality in healthcare. The course teaches skills such as advocating for women's health, recognizing bias, and promoting inclusivity. The teaching method is through a TEDx talk format lasting 18 minutes. The intended audience includes healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and individuals interested in gender equality in healthcare.
