Overview
Psychology Motion
This course will provide an introduction to the field of psychology and its study of sensation and perception. Students will be expected to understand how stimuli in the environment are identified and how meaning is derived from such stimuli. Across four chapters, students will survey topics such as form perception, depth perception and the perception of motion. They will also explore the implications and applications of the psychology of perception, examining how our mental processes affect everyday life. Upon completing this course, students should have an in-depth understanding of the architecture and functioning of the perception system.
