Overview
This course aims to explore the computability of consciousness through a deflationary, normative perspective, considering the computational implications of modeling one's own attentive process. Students will analyze the computational complexity classes involved in self-modeling processes and cognitive phenomena, with a focus on NP-hard transformations. The teaching method involves theoretical analysis and speculation on the implementability of conscious systems on a computer. This course is intended for individuals interested in the intersection of consciousness studies, computational theory, and artificial intelligence.
