The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge useful for understanding the functioning of public and private organizations, with particular reference to cultural heritage. Learn about the ways in which we divide the work, coordinate the activities, you define the proxy system and manages the staff, is a key asset to be able to operate at its best in the business, in organizations and associations in which students will be a day called to operate. The first part of the course, focused on the basic principles of corporate organization and the organizational design process, is divided into four phases: the first shows the parts of the organization and the main coordination mechanisms; in the second steps in the organizational design process; in the third stage of the selection criteria used in the definition of organizational decisions; fourth in the main organizational forms. In the second part of the course, however, the focus is on social innovation phenomenon applied to cultural heritage. The immense cultural heritage and environmental Italian, in fact, at a time of deep economic crisis, the risk of being abandoned and forgotten. In this situation disheartening emerge, however, positive initiatives promoted by enthusiasts and competent citizens who have started upgrading work projects, maintenance and use of important parts of assets. Will be illustrated emblematic stories in recent years have developed in the South of Italy, outlining the peculiarities of this new management model that represents an alternative between the public and the private model.
